Teacher In-service Training & Development

Our Teachers' Resource Centre provides in-service training to local primary school teachers. Our programme for 'whole school development' assists teachers and head teachers in their work and liaises with district education officials to effect improvements in the delivery of primary education.

Vocational Training School

Our vocational training school offers training in carpentry, masonry, and tailoring & craft to primary school leavers and other young people. A new motor-mechanics course will be offered soon.

Computer Learning Centre

The Guerba Computer Centre not only runs courses to learn to use computers, but also has an internet café and provides secretarial services.

Primary School Renovation and Support

As an essential first step we undertook primary school renovation to make a better learning environment leading to increased attendance, better health and increased teacher morale.

This work is no longer our main focus, but a small amount of renovation and building work continues.
