You can show your support for the Project by making a donation online or by post.
Village Education Project Kilimanjaro depends on your donations to continue and grow, so please be generous. We are always looking for support and any money you give will be put to excellent use.
You can get sponsorship for a fundraising event by setting up a fundraising page with Just Giving.
You can donate online via the JustGiving secure website using a debit or a credit card.
Donate online via the secure website of CAFonline using a Charity Card, a debit card or a credit card. The former GiveNow.org and AllAboutGiving.org websites are now part of the CAF (Charities Aid Foundation) website.
By using Gift Aid, you make your donation worth more. For every pound you give to us, we get an extra 28 pence from the UK tax authorities. If you are a higher-rate taxpayer you can even claim a further tax deduction via your self-assessment form, thus saving you tax. Both JustGiving and CAF welcome Gift-Aided donations.

You can make a donation by post direct to the Project. Please download a form and post it to the address on the form.
Village Education Project (Kilimanjaro) has recently received tax-exempt status in the United States under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. U.S.-based contributions to the organization are now deductible under section 170 of the Code. If you reside in the U.S. and would like to donate, you can now do so via Network for Good’s secure website.
What we could do with your donation
- £5 provides newspapers for a month in the Village Crafts Shop
- £30 will provide a table and bench for three pupils to sit at comfortably
- £50 will buy drawing and colouring materials for one school
- £60 will provide four days' training for a teacher of pre-primary pupils
- £125 will pay for the translation of 18 pages of valuable teaching materials into Swahili.
- £250 will buy Swahili reading books for one school
- £450 takes 60 pupils to a National Park for two days.
- £685 pays for a return flight for a specialist volunteer OR you can help by using your airmiles to acquire an air ticket for us
If you are a UK taxpayer, please Gift Aid your donations whenever you can because the UK government will top up whatever you contribute. As we are an approved charity, for every pound that you donate, HMRC will give us another 28 pence.
